GARCIMA LA IDEAL deep pan made of polished carbon steel, with handles and measuring 20cm in diameter. GARCIMA IDEAL polished steel deep pans are ideal for making world cuisines and perfect for deep frying. Before first use, remove the sticker attached to the inside of the pan (heat the pan slightly to loosen it) and then remove the protective film applied to the surface by bringing water to the boil in the pan, then wash the pan with hot water and ordinary dishwashing detergent. Dry the pan thoroughly with a soft cloth—never leave the pan to air dry. Season the pan by lightly greasing the cooking surface with cooking oil, so that the metal withstands heat better when cooking. Once the protective film is removed, always store the pan slightly greased with cooking oil. Since the pans do not have a non-stick coating, to remove residues of food, we recommend leaving the pan to soak in hot water with dishwashing detergent for an hour at most and, if necessary, scrub with a non-abrasive sponge. Wash the pan and then dry thoroughly—never leave the pan to air dry. Before putting the pan away, season the internal and external surfaces of the pan by greasing lightly with olive oil, wrap the pan in paper and then store inside a plastic bag in a dry place. Garcima polished carbon steel pans are designed for use on gas cooktops and wood fires. Never heat the pans when empty. Always avoid overheating the pans by heating slowly and checking the heat constantly. The pans may be used in an oven for no more than 10 minutes and never at temperatures above 250°C. For oven use, we recommend IDEAL enamelled pans. Do not use in a microwave oven. Only use wooden or metal utensils with the pans. Plastic utensils are not suitable and may be damaged, as these kinds of pans reach very high temperatures. Given the high temperatures reached by the pans, never leave the pan unattended on the cooktop or without the supervision of an adult. Keep out of reach of children.
