Gastro chef’s knife with HACCP Plug-In System, featuring a curved, wedge-shaped blade made of tempered stainless steel and a polypropylene and resin handle. A kitchen essential for mincing, slicing, dicing and chopping. Crafted using a high-precision mould to ensure long-lasting use on cutting boards, the knife features a curved tip to facilitate the rocking motion needed for mincing and chopping. The Gastro series of knives are all made of high-carbon stainless steel, which improves the flexibility and chopping power of the blade and guarantees long-lasting sharpness and easy resharpening. Perfect for cutting, filleting and chopping, the knives are made of non-toxic materials that can be fully washed and sterilized to guarantee perfect food safety standards, in compliance with EU regulations. The knives are perfectly balanced and feature an ergonomic handle with a slightly rough grip to stop the knife from slipping out of the hand when in use, and a curved butt that acts as a backstop, for greater safety. The finger guard at the head of the handle protects the fingers from the blade, while the user-friendly grip eases the strain of cutting and improves finger placement. The Gastro series also features an innovative HACCP Plug-In System made of polypropylene and a soft-touch thermoplastic resin at the butt of the handle, to personalize and differentiate the knives by matching the different colours to different uses.
