Enamelled cast-iron curved round casserole pot with lid, measuring 20cm in diameter and with a capacity of 2.3 litres. Suitable for all types of cooktops, including induction hobs, and oven safe, with non-stick coating. The Tuscany series features a simple, classic design inspired by traditional terracotta cookware. The casserole pot is made of vitreous-enamelled cast iron for easy washing and cleaning, coloured iridescent brown on the outside and white on the inside. Ideal for stews, roasts and recipes requiring lengthy cooking times, without the need to add liquids as food is cooked in its own juices. By trapping the vapour and juices released by food as it cooks, cast iron maintains the right degree of moisture within the pot, for even cooking and guaranteed tasty results. The heat-retention properties of cast iron also make the casserole pot ideal for presenting food at the table, where it remains warmer for longer and can be served with ease thanks to lids featuring knobs made of thermosetting plastic.
